Dear Myer Families,

I hope this letter finds you enjoying the last few moments of summer.  The first day of school will be here before we know it!  At Myer, we are very busy planning and preparing for the upcoming school year. Our work in July and August helps lay a strong foundation upon which students, faculty, and staff can thrive.  Whether new to our school or returning, your child(ren) will surely SOAR in the safe and nurturing learning environment that we create at Myer Elementary.

Exciting news! All students in KCSD, will continue to receive no-cost breakfast & lunch in 2025-26!   My School Bucks will continue to be used to purchase "a la carte” food items.  Please contact our food service department with any specific account questions by calling (845) 943-3663.

Once school begins on September 3rd, be on the lookout for our Myer Family Memo, which will be texted, emailed, and accessible on our E.C. Myer Elementary Facebook Page.  This weekly communication will include important school & community event information, the lunch menu, and much more.  Please visit our school website and consider following our Facebook Page as additional ways to stay connected and informed.

The highlighted information below, taken from our handbook, will help you to navigate the first few days of school.  The complete Myer School Handbook can be found on our school website.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by phone Monday - Friday between 8am - 3:30pm at (845) 943-3917 if you have any questions.
